When I first talked to my sister about what we might do for her invites she was a little concerned that she had no idea what she wanted. Days later I got an exuberant phone call from her. "I've got it! Adam LOVES this yellow polk-a-dot dress I have! It has to be polk-a-dots."
And so it began. From there, she told me to run with it. My sister also has an affliction for very delicious cakes, so playing with the invite wrap to have some fun, talking about what to expect, was completely her.
I knew the day my sister would get married we would go ALL OUT. And we did. We had a lot of fun working on her wedding. From the Save-the-Date, to the invite, to the decor. Lemons were used to fill tall cylinder vases at the reception, with Black Eyed Susans coming out the top. Tables lined the rotunda of the Sioux City Art Center. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful dance floor.
